On the graduate admission officer who covers the Master of Arts and education program.
Our Master of Arts and education is completely on line. We have added 2 new tracks to our teacher leader endorsement program. One is steam education and the other is trauma informed practices. We still have our very popular literacy specialist endorsement program if that's what you're interested in.
Our redesign teacher leadership program is still a 30 hour program and completes in for semesters. It is a cohort model that begins only in the summer and it has a completely online delivery. There is a field component available in diverse settings.
It leads to a teacher consultant certificate.
And beginning in summer of 2020. We're launching our two new tracks steam education and trauma informed practices.
These steam education schedule.
Is as follows in the first summer you take your research course communities of practice and then instructional design and tools in your 1st fall. There's transdisciplinary teaching an equity in the spring school technology leadership and assessment in steam and in your final summer data analysis leadership in steam and your capstone.
The schedule for trauma informed practices is similar, but with some different courses, so in your first summer. You still have research and communities to practice your 3rd courses foundations of practices and Wellness in the fall. You focus on equity and trauma informed classrooms.
In this spring school technology leadership and creating trauma informed schools and in your final summer data analysis advocacy and your capstone course.
If you're interested in the literacy specialist, MA Ed that's a little bit different. It's a 36 credit hour program with 24 hours of literacy related coursework. It prepares you to become a reading coach, a reading interventionist or literacy.
And provide you literacy expertise in your own classroom. It does include a supervised practicum experience.
The schedule for the literacy specialist endorsement is as follows. It's across 5 semesters. In your first summer. You'll take research leadership and 21st century technologies in the fall. You'll take literacy, one and equity in the spring. Literacy 2 and literacy leadership in your second summer. You'll take second language. Learners academic literacy and struggling learners and in your final fall.
You take your writing course and your practicum.
The 2019 2020 academic year as the tuition rate of $410 per credit hour or 1230 per class this is one of the lowest upfront graduate education tuition rates in this state we are competitive or price lower than most of the other programs in the state of Kentucky.
With the MAYD you are degree seeking so you are eligible for federal aid. If you're interested in starting in summer 2020. You will want to fill out your FAFSA application and our school code is 001954.
Most of the financial aid available is through student loans, but you can also check with your individual school district for possible 8 options. We also participate in the yellow ribbon program if you're eligible for veterans benefits.

Hello thank you for watching this brief video about bellermann university's Master of Arts in education program we have a couple of new tracks premiering in the summer of 2020 and we just wanted to give you a quick update on those.

So our Master of Arts and education program is completely on line an it is the summer start only so if you're considering starting your Masters this summer, is a great time to go ahead and get started with that it will complete in 4 to 5 semesters. You can get it taken care of pretty quickly and with it being all on line, it does make it flexible for current teachers.
We offer the teacher leadership endorsement with 2 new tracks starting this summer steam education and trauma informed practices.
We are also continuing to offer our literacy specialist endorsement.
The teacher leadership program is 30 credit hours with completion in for semesters. It is a cohort model again. Starting in the summer only. It is a completely online delivery. There is a field component requirement. It does lead to a teacher consultant certificate and again. Those new tracks available in summer of 2020 are steam education and trauma informed practices.
A quick overview of what the schedule is going to look like for these new tracks for these steam education in your first summer. You'll take a research course communities, with practice and then instructional design and tools in the fall. You'll take transdisciplinary teaching an inequity course in the spring school technology leadership.
And in your final summer data analysis leadership and steam and your capstone course.
The trauma informed practices track has a lot of similar courses, but there are some differences specific to that track so in your first summer again. You'll do research and communities of practice and then you'll have foundations of practices and Wellness. In the fall. Trauma informed classrooms and equity in the spring school technology leadership and creating trauma informed schools.
And in your final summer data analysis advocacy and your capstone.
The literacy specialist program is just a little bit different. It is a 36 credit hour program. 24 credit hours is literacy related coursework. It prepares you for becoming a reading coach reading interventionist.
Anne just teaches you how to utilize your new literacy expertise in your own classroom. It does include a supervised practicum experience.
The literacy specialist endorsement, MA Ed falls under 5 semesters, as opposed to 4 with those additional 6 credit hours in your first summer. You take research leadership and 21st century technologies in the fall. You take your first literacy course and equity in the spring. Literacy 2 and literacy leadership in your second summer second language, learners, academic literacy and struggling learners.
And in your final semester that 2nd fall. You'll take writing and your practicum course.
The tuition rate for the Master of Arts and education program for the 2019 twenty twenty academic year is $410 per credit hour or $12130 per class? This is one of the lowest upfront graduate education. Tuition rates in the state. We're definitely competitive or less than most of the MAED programs in the state of Kentucky.
